OMG! I’M NOT OBESE!!!!!!!!

I’m now in the “overweight” category. WAHHOO!!!

Bestie & her hubby came over & we sprayed the massive amount of canvas down with fire proofer stuff. So, now we’ll be in compliance with the CA Fire Marshal rules. That’s a good thing. 🙂

Of course… I didn’t get anything else accomplished today. My motivation has been shot lately.

I did make a really awesome recipe for dinner though. Swiss steak! It was REALLY nommy! Recipe is below.

Breakfast was coffee/milk.
Snack was an apple.
Lunch was shredded chicken/salsa over lettuce.
Dinner was Swiss steak & melba.
I did break down and have a small piece of cocoa-crack. Hopefully it won’t cause any issues tomorrow. 🙂

R3P2D5 – Been running so long, I’ve nearly lost all track of time…

Today’s weight: 212.6
today’s change:  -1.2
net change: -3.0

I’m only 1 pound from breaking into the “overweight” category of BMI!!  No more “obese” for me, baby! (Or, “grossly obese” – which I was at the beginning of this journey.)

Now, normally you won’t see me talking about BMI. Mostly because I think it’s bullshit. If you’re muscular and/or dense boned (which I am, both) there’s no way in hell one can get into the “normal” range while still being healthy.  I mean, seriously? 135-160 pounds? Not gonna happen. The last time I weighed that little? Jr High. Yeah. And I was thin! Just tall & muscular & heavy boned. This me at age 12 – right around 135 pounds.  (And 5’7″ish, I think.)

Who knows, maybe I’ll get into the high end. But I seriously doubt it. And I’m certainly not going to kill myself  to try to get there. I’ll just be happy to be back under 200 pounds and healthy.

Soo… I was so sidetracked by the beta yesterday — that I forgot to do my injection!!  I guess it was a really good thing that it would have been injection 7, so it just works as a skip day.  Probably a better idea anyway, as this is probably going to be a ‘long’ round. Most likely at least 30, if not the full 40 injections. I only skipped one day last round – and that was to adjust my dosage. But, that was a short round, with only 24 injections. So. Yeah.

I’m so glad it’s finally the weekend. It’s been a pretty ferocious week at work. I’ve been breathing paper dust all week & I’m covered in paper cuts. But, I’ve finally gotten mostly caught up with the filing…  Of course, now that I am, one of the Secretaries will be on vacation next week – which means I have to do her data entry. Which will cause me to get backed up again. *sigh* Just can’t win.

This weekend is going to go by super fast, though. So much to get done. Gotta do some grocery shopping – almost out of meat! Plus, Bestie & I are going to be spraying down the new walls for the craft fair booth with fire retardant stuff…  that’ll be fun. (riiigghhttt) And, I really need to get more of my glass mushrooms done & get them photographed with Bestie’s Fairy Cottages. The San Jose Fantasy Fair is next weekend… and it would probably help if I had something to sell in our booth. LOL!

I’ve now farted around on the internet again for several hours – and I’m sleepy… So, this is what you’re all getting tonight. LOL

A new low!!

This is going to be short again tonight… because it’s WAY past my bedtime…  I got my beta invite for the new World of Warcraft expansion today – and Hubby & I were playing with our Aussie friend. We played for a few hours… and now it’s late.

R3P2D3 – My lips are moving and the sound’s coming out, The words are audible but I have my doubts…

Wahoo! Below first injection weight! All down from here (hopefully). And, maybe- just maybe- I’ll break past that darn 215 spot that I haven’t been able to get below yet.

So, I’ve been listening to audiobooks at work lately while I’m filing. It’s keeping my brain occupied while I do a mindless (to me) task. I’m enjoying it. I’m downloading stuff from Librivox, which are books in the public domain read by volunteers. It really makes me want to read for them! Granted, all the books are OOOLLDDDDD. But, some of them are still pretty awesome. I just finished Princess of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs (yup, the book that the new John Carter movie is based on). I liked it and I’m looking forward to listening to Gods of Mars, the next one. I just hope that the next volunteer reads as well as this last one. 🙂  I also have the Harry Potter books, borrowed from a friend. So, that’ll keep me busy for a while.

Okay ~ I’ve now managed to get nothing accomplished since I’ve been home this evening… I’ve lost the last couple of hours on Pintrest & YouTube. :-O The internet is a time suck…

R3P2D2 – I hear the ticking of the clock, I’m lying here, the room’s pitch dark…

Yay! I truly do love the first few days of VLC. The numbers drop so fast. 🙂 Of course… it is the load weight for a few days. So, I won’t get too excited until I’m below that ‘stuck place’ of 215.

Sorry I don’t have a whole lot to talk about lately… I’m apparently going through one of my ‘meh’ phases. I just don’t feel up to doing anything once I’m home from work. I’ve been struggling to just post what I have been. I know that posting is good for me – keeps me honest about my food intake & forces me to actually do something other than stare at my computer screen or a book or into space after I make dinner.

Bleh. Sorry about being a debbie downer…

So, this round, I’m testing out having a tablespoon of unsweetened almond milk in my morning coffee. It just gives a little bit of flavor to my coffee, with pretty much no carbs.  I know we’re allowed to have a tablespoon of milk – but, no one in my house drinks milk, so it would probably go bad faster than I could use it. The almond milk lasts a bit longer, soo… fingers crossed.

Breakfast was coffee.
Lunch was flank steak & steamed broccoli slaw.
Dinner was cajun shrimp & shredded cabbage.
Dessert was strawberries & melba toast.

R3P2D1 – Hallucinate Desegregate Mediate Alleviate Try not to hate…

Oof. I forgot how full you feel after eating all 500 calories on VLCD! I feel almost as full right now as I did on Saturday. LOL

So, a 3.8 loading gain. Not too horrid, I suppose. It’s bigger than my last load gain (3.0), but it could have been SO much more. 🙂

Work is kicking my butt (as usual) and I’ve had a really long exhausting day. So, (broken record time) I’m going to keep this really short today & go to bed early.

Breakfast was iced coffee.

R2P3D15 – Well I’ve got this feeling in the back of my head…

Today: 218.4 / LIW: 216.8 / Net: +1.6

Well, I’m up a bit, but at least it’s only .2 – not horrible. Not above the +2 dreaded correction cap, so that’s good.

Hubby suggested that maybe I’m not eating enough veggies… so I ate veggies with every meal today – maybe tomorrow I’ll be down? 🙂

I ended up not going for my run after work today… it was really windy out and I just couldn’t face that. I’m planning on doing W1D2 of the C25K tomorrow morning instead. I figure, even if it’s windy still, I’ll be in a better frame of mind. This week has just got me whooped. Work has been crazy-busy & I think I’ve figured out why I’ve been so dang tired all week… I’ve got a bit of a sore throat, been really sneezy, and well – probably fighting off a crud of some sort. Blech.

Bestie is coming over tomorrow for some sewing… We’re making new walls for her craft fair booth. We’ve already done the measuring… now we just have to wrestle with the yards & yards of canvas! LOL

Breakfast was green beans cooked in butter, bacon, & coffee.
Snack was macadamia nuts and a packet of Just The Cheese.
Lunch was a HUGE Cobb salad with blue cheese dressing.
Dinner was a chuck eye steak, roasted radishes, & chèvre-stuffed baby peppers.

R2P3D14 – It’s the eye of the tiger, it’s the thrill of the fight…

I’m really hoping that I don’t have yet another correction day ahead of me tomorrow… *sigh* I did NOT have this much trouble last round. But, then, I also didn’t have a big bread cheat on P3D2 last round, nor did I have 4 days of gastronomic travels. So, I guess we’ll see.

I had a horribly long day at work… My eyes are burning from all of the paper dust I’ve delved through today. Meh. Doesn’t help that I’ve not been sleeping well – so I’m run down & cranky. I just want to pitch things at people’s heads. 😦 I think I’ll take some benadryl for my puffy eyes and go to bed early tonight.

I’m not nearly as sore today as I was afraid of being! Yay!  I’m doing some upper body work with my kettlebell tonight & then I’ll run again tomorrow.

Breakfast was Fage with English Toffee Stevia and a handful of frozen berries & coffee/cream.
Snack was hot & spicy microwave pork rinds and some cream cheese.
Lunch was corned beef & cabbage.
Dinner was turkey/mushroom chili with a dolop of Fage & a small sprinkle of cheddar cheese.

R2P3D13 – Hey now (wow), look at that. Did he really run you down?

Yay! Back within range!

Aaand… I’m going to be a big fat liar. I haven’t finished writing up our Bay Area Adventures… so… sorry. I’ll get it up eventually, I swear!

The good news is… Hubby & I will be joining a couple of our friends in participating in the SF Progressive Marathon this year! Yay!! Basically, you log your mileage up to 23.1 miles of the “marathon” and then complete the marathon by running/walking the 5K route on the day of the race.
Now, to complete this goal – I’m starting (again) the Couch to 5K program. I’ve started it several times, but haven’t gotten past week 2 before giving up.  But, I’m quite a bit lighter this time and I’d like to think I’m in better cardiovascular shape.  Today I completed Week1Day1. Did about 2 miles in 32 minutes.

But, now it’s past my bed time… and I still need to do some more stretching… soo….

Breakfast was eggs scrambled with spinach & onion, bacon, & coffee/cream.
Snack was a packet of Just The Cheese snack.
Lunch was cauliflower with a dab of blue cheese dressing & two turkey burgers with Swiss cheese.
Dinner was corned beef & cabbage.

R2P3D12 – It’s not too hard to figure out, you see it everyday…

Today: 219.2 / LIW: 216.8 / Net: +2.4

Down a bit with yesterday’s Steak Day – 1.6, not as much as most folks seem to lose on a steak day, but not horrible. I’m doing another correction day today, a Full Fat Fage day, to try to get down under that +2 mark.

I know that I promised you a longer post about my trip to San Francisco, but it’s already gotten kind of late… and I’m still really tired from the return-trip-of-doom… so I’ll give you a couple of “teaser pics” to tide you over, and I’ll work on the longer post for tomorrow. K?

Breakfast & snack was 16 oz of FFF with Toffee Stevia. Lunch was 8 oz FFF with cocoa powder & Chocolate Stevia. Dinner was 8 oz FFF, 2 oz spinach, 1 tbsp ground flax seed, & some water – blended into a smoothie.
