Yay! No loss or gain. That’s good, considering my face plant into the chicken wings. LOL

I’m going to make this pretty quick… it’s New Year’s Eve and all… so I’m going to go do something besides be on the computer. 🙂

Breakfast was bacon & coffee/cream. Snack was an apple & almond/peanut/cashew butter. Lunch was scrambled eggs with turkey chili & cheese. Snack 2 was the last of the left-over key lime yogurt pie. Dinner was sashimi, edamame, & Asian slaw. Dessert was a strawberry and cocoa crack.

R1P3D14 – I like to move it move it, we like to – move it!

Today: 238.6 / LDW: 239.6 / Net: -1.0

Woot! No steak day! Looks like the colon cleanse may be doing it’s thing.

Of course… I was REALLY bad with dinner tonight. Chicken wings!! I probably ate 600 more calories today than I have been lately… Hopefully it won’t cause too many problems for tomorrow’s weigh in. I guess the good thing is that it’s pretty much all protein & fat!

I did go to the gym today, so that’s good. And I RAN! Not very far and not very fast… but I ran. I walked 3 minutes, ran 2 minutes, walked 3, ran 1, walked 5, ran 1, walked 3. Did just over a mile. Then, I did some resistance/weight work for about 20 minutes.
My new ipod playlist worked out pretty well. There was just once that I needed to skip a song because it was just too slow for my treadmill work.

Breakfast was a corned beef/cauliflower hash with a fried egg and coffee/cream. Snack was an apple & almond butter. Lunch was bratwurst & sauerkraut. Dinner was chicken wings, celery, & carrots with ranch dressing.

R1P3D13 – Reptiles and Samurai…

Today: 241.4 / LDW: 239.6 / Net: +1.8

Um… yikes! I’ve been watching what I’m eating, keeping the carbs low, drinking plenty of water… Seriously, the only thing I can think of is the ‘movement’ problem. Here’s REALLY hoping that the cleanse stuff I’m taking starts things moving… or I’m looking at a steak-day tomorrow. *sigh*

Today, I spent 2 hours organizing my iPod Shuffle with ‘exercising’ music. I’m planning on trying it out at the gym tomorrow. Yay!

The good thing is that I’m now at a week of daily walking & exercise. Not a lot… only 10-20 minutes per day (break time / walking dog), but better than nothing, yes? I’m also doing wall push-ups, squats, and tummy rolls (can’t do crunches yet with my back). Hopefully that’ll help a bit as well.

Breakfast was ham & poached eggs, coffee/cream. Snack was pork rinds & cream cheese. Went out to lunch with Roomie (who I also work with), but I think I made pretty good choices… Had seared Ahi w/ Asian slaw and 6 spinach/cheese stuffed mushrooms. (About 500 kcal and 20 carbs -minus fiber!)  Snack 2 was cocoa crack. Dinner was homemade Turkey Mushroom chili with 1/2 oz grated cheese.

Huh. Guess I ate more cheese than I planned… Well, we’ll see how tomorrow goes!

R1P3D12 – Dream on, dream on…

Today 239.8 / LDW: 239.6 / Net: +0.2

I’m just not feeling wordy again today… Sorry. :-/

Yesterday I played my new Zumba game. It was fun, but really difficult on carpet. Wonder if I can find a piece of roll-out flooring I can put down for dancing on. Hmm… Perhaps a trip to the flooring warehouse is in order…

I’m having some – um – difficulties with not being regular again. Hubby & I are discussing doing a colon cleanse round. A la Trudeau. I’m probably not getting enough fiber… but it’s really difficult to do so when doing low carb. I’m trying to up veggies a bit – and still keeping my cheese intake fairly low.

Okay, drank my tea… ready to go to bed…

Breakfast was bratwurst & sauerkraut.  Snack was spicy pork rinds & cream cheese. Lunch was corned beef & cabbage (& a piece of cocoa crack). Dinner was chicken breast, asparagus, & a string cheese.

R1P3D10 – Livin’ la vida loca…

Today: 238.0 / LDW: 239.6 / Net: -1.6

Didn’t manage to get half of the stuff done today that I wanted to… But, it was a pretty full day none-the-less.

Hubby, Roomie, & I and went out for breakfast. Then we went to Target to buy some new storage boxes so I could organize the den a bit. Also picked up Call of Duty 3 for Hubby & the Kinect Zumba for me. Yay for $$ from my folks for Christmas! (If the Zumba is any good, I may just cancel my gym membership…)

Ran home, dropped off our breakfast leftovers, and then went to the movies. Saw Sherlock Holmes again… Roomie really wanted to see it, and I don’t mind seeing Mr Downey Jr again. 😉

After the movie, we walked over to try to get our pan roasts (since we were still jonesing for them from Saturday’s failed attempt). Service was a bit better…  but still really slow. They seriously didn’t bring us the check until we stood up and started putting on our coats! (After it took them forever to bring us leftover containers…)  Oh well. At least I got my pan roast. 😀

Once we got home, Hubby went out and put the wrap on the water heater (took a really long time) while I started in on the den – including dragging one of my china hutches over about 4 feet, so we have a path into the kitchen from the den again. (Roomie sat at her computer, and hasn’t budged since…)  I got the area organized where we planned on putting the Nordicflex that I got from a co-worker. And then we set it up.  I think it needs some oiling or something, it’s not retracting the way it should… but once we get it ‘tuned up’, I think it will be a nice thing to use.  As long as it doesn’t turn into a coat rack! LOL

So, I guess we did get quite a bit accomplished… Still didn’t manage any laundry, though… and I REALLY still need to get my DVDs scanned & alphabetized. They’re a big mess right now! *sigh* Maybe next week… it’ll be a ‘minor’ project that I can work on while we have company in from out of town.

Breakfast was half of a turkey/tomato/spinach omelet, a bit of cottage cheese, & coffee/cream.  Lunch was 1/2 a Pan Roast and hot tea. Snack was a piece of almond cocoa crack. Dinner was corned beef & cabbage, a baby bel cheese, & a cheese stick.

R1P3D9 – And to all a good night…

Today: 238.6 / LDW: 239.6 / Net: -1.0

Merry Christmas, everyone!
I just got home from dinner at my brother’s house (45 minute drive)… and I’m exhausted!  I’m gonna make this real quick & then toddle off to bed.
I do love when my brother does dinner, ’cause we always have something yummy that ISN’T turkey! This year, he made a lovely prime rib rack & asparagus.  I was only slightly tempted by the rolls, orange jello salad, & potatoes; but, I didn’t succumb. 🙂

I made the key lime yogurt pies, so Hubby & I had desert to eat, when everyone else was eating apple pie & triple chocolate cake. LOL

Late breakfast was a scramble with egg, onion, mushroom, cheese, & yellow peppers with coffee/cream. Dinner was a honking giant slab of prime rib & asparagus with butter. Dessert was Key Lime Yogurt Pie & coffee.

R1P3D8 – Jingle bells, batman smells…

Today: 239.6 / LDW: 239.6 / Net: 0.0

I wonder if I’m having a Fibro flare… I’m just still exhausted! And my brain hasn’t been functioning… and I hurt. Yup. Probably a flare. Joy.

We had to do some last-minute shopping today. Picked up some Visa Gift cards for the neices & nephew, and some jigsaw puzzles as the little gifty to wrap the cards with. Got a double-deck of Star Wars playing cards for my brother, along with a Yoda & Clone Warrior marshmallow pops. He’s 10 years older than me… LOL Got ‘spa’ sets for my step-mom, sister, & bro’s wife. And I got some fun “Ice Speed Chess” forms for my dad.

The “exciting” part of my day was realizing, as we were getting ready to head out to the movies, that my wallet was missing! We tore apart the car, my purse, turned out all pockets… *gnashing of teeth*  I tried calling the last store I went to… but the phones were so busy that I couldn’t get to a person in customer service. So, Hubby & I loaded back into the car and drove back to the store, just praying that I had left it at the checkout counter and not dropped it in the parking lot or something.
Prayers do get answered sometimes… The young fella who was our cashier was still on the same lane – and he remembered us, and yes – I had left my wallet sitting on the stand and he’d given it to a manager. YAY! I found a manager and they unlocked the money drawer & there it was! *sigh of incredible relief*

So, Hubby & I did make it to the movie… Albeit two and a half hours later… Saw the new Sherlock Holmes. It was a lot of fun!

We tried to go out to dinner – but after sitting at the table for fifteen minutes with no server, we got up and left. I did a parting shot at the manager (who had walked past our table twice without acknowledgement), who happened to be standing next to the hostess stand, that we were leaving without ordering because we were tired of being ignored at the table. And, when we got home, I sent an email off to the company. I am actually shocked and disappointed in what happened. I’ve NEVER had bad service there before. Slow sometimes… but never bad like this. I mean, it’s WAY more likely that the owner (like the guy who’s name is in lights on the side of the giant casino) stops by your table to chat & see how it’s going!  *sigh*  So, instead of getting yummy pan roasts, we came home and ate corned beef & cabbage. Which was still yummy… but not a pan roast.

I also made Low-Carb Key Lime Yogurt Pies (recipe below) to take to Christmas dinner with the family tomorrow. I had some left-over ground almonds, so I made some almond cocoa crack too.

Breakfast was 2 poached eggs, 2 oz beef, 2 turkey sausage links, & coffee/cream. Lunch was 3.5 oz pulled pork, green onion, & red bell peppers. Snack was beef jerky. Dinner was corned beef & cabbage. “Dessert” was licking the spoons while I was making the lime yogurt pie…

R1P3D7 – Hungry like the wolf, hungry like the wolf…

Today: 238.6 / LDW: 239.6 / Net: -1.0

Wow… what a long day! Work was crazy-busy this week and I’m running on a major lack of sleep because of the dogs… Today was a ‘hungry day’, so when I wasn’t eating, I was starving… That may have had something to do with my lack of solid sleep the past two days. But, at least I stuck to low-carb in my eat-fest!

I’m brain-fried right now, so I’m not thinking of anything clever or earth shattering to say… so, Merry Christmas-eve-eve, and I’m going to go to bed early and let Hubby deal with the dogs. LOL

Breakfast was 2 poached eggs, 4 turkey breakfast sausage, & coffee/cream. Snack was spicy pork rinds & 1 oz cream cheese.  Lunch was 1 1/3 bratwurst & saurkraut. Snack 2 was 1/4 cup mixed nuts. Dinner was a pork chop w/ blue cheese sauce and an artichoke with garlic butter. (NOM!) Then, I had a piece of cocoa crack for dessert.  I think I finally feel full… now I’m just tired.
